Steve Brooman is an ex technical Superintendent and Chief Engineer who moved into ship surveying with the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency in 2003.

Following 11 years at the MCA and having gained a great deal of experience in Auditing, Surveying and Inspecting a wide range of ship types, Steve decided to branch out on his own in 2014.

Steve undertakes Passenger Ship Safety Certificate surveys as well as ISM, ISPS and MLC audits on behalf of the Bermuda flag.

Steve is also trained in offshore safety, BOSIET and MIST allowing him to travel offshore to conduct Audits and Surveys on specialized vessel types such as MODU’s, Drill Ships, FSPO’s and floating accommodation units.
